Naming June 11th / Nombramiento 11 de Junio

El domingo 11 de Junio celebramos el nombramiento por la religión judía de Sophia Helena. Stacy es judía y yo soy católico, pero mal católico, por eso decidimos que Sophi crezca judía. Fue una ceremonia muy bonita dirigida por Samuel Vainberg quien es gran amigo de la familia y rabino de la congregación a la que los Silva asistían en Caracas. La pasamos muy bien y estuvimos acompañados de toda la familia y amigos. Mi hermana Laura había llegado el dia anterior y por parte de la Flia. On Sunday June 11th we celebrated the naming of Sophia under the jewish tradition. Stacy is jewish and I am catholic, but a bad one, therefore we decided to raise Sophia jewish. The ceremony was carried by Samuel Vaimberg a very special friend of the Silva's and the rabi of the jewish congregation where Maxine and Stacy used to attend in Caracas. It was a beautiful cermony, we really enjoyed the company of all our friends and family , my sister Laura arrived the day before and from the Mayer side, Laura, Silvia and the new addition Lilly came just for this special day. First Month! / Primer mes!

Hoy 17, Sophia cumple un mes en este mundo. Estas dos fotos son parte de una nueva galería de fotos que tomamos hoy y que estare subiendo durante el día.

Las fotos están actualizadas, pueden ver los enlaces en la barra de la derecha. Sophia se ha portado bien, come cada tres horas y de resto, o duerme o se la pasa de brazo en brazo con la familia. Mi hermana Laura esta aquí, o sea que tenemos la casa full.
La aspiradora: los libros de bebé, dicen que en el vientre el ruido equivale a dos veces una aspiradora. En estos días, se puso a llorar sin parar, y decidimos prender la aspiradora. Santo remedio, por un rato se quedó muda.

eating, she either sleeps or spends the time in the arms of the family. My sister Laura is here, so we have a full house.
